With a number of new clients on board, a brand-new office in London and a new website it’s safe to say the last year at Newsline has been a positive one.

In our latest blog, we are reflecting on our top 10 success stories from 2018 in anticipation of the year ahead…

  1. Pallet-Track

Multi-award winning logistics company Pallet-Track won two prizes at the Midlands Business Awards, in recognition of its quality service and innovative approach to doing business. Pallet-Track was also named one of the UK’s fastest growing companies in the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track listing, among a host of other awards. We have been helping spread great news on Pallet-Tracks achievements to regional and trade press since 2012.

  1. Ikoyi Chapmans

Following a competitive tender, we won a contract to represent Ikoyi Chapmans, a Nigerian influenced sparkling citrus drink. The drink has featured in Tatler Magazine and on Chris Evans BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show. We also helped Chapmans support a county-wide Christmas drink-drive campaign run by Warwickshire Police, offering free drinks to designated drivers at four pubs.

  1. Solihull School

In the last academic year, we achieved national coverage for Solihull School in the Mail Online, The Sun, Daily Express, The Daily Telegraph, Mirror and MSN News. Newsline also handled a film premiere, Condemned to Remember, which was attended by more than 750 people and featured on BBC Midlands Today.

  1. DCA Design

The dynamic product design consultancy DCA Design International Ltd won The Queen’s Award for Enterprise for the second time. DCA Design is one of Warwick’s largest private employers and the company behind products such as the SoloSTAR insulin pen, Stella Artois glassware, Sure and Lynx deodorant cans. Its list of clients include Hitachi and its IEP high speed train, which is set to replace the 125 trains in the UK. We are proud to represent this growing company and achieved multiple hits in the media with this story.

  1. NDSR

North Downs Specialist Referrals, in Bletchingley, Surrey, is one of the first in the country to operate on dogs and cats with tumours in the pituitary gland, a part of the brain that controls growth and development of other glands. Its specialists have helped to save a number of animals with complicated conditions and we are proud to share their life-saving stories. Newsline achieved multiple national hits for North Downs in publications such as the Daily Express and The Sun.

  1. Coventry City Football Club

Last year, Coventry City Football Club delivered its own version of sporting aid to the Middle East. Championing how football can be a force for good around the world, Coventry City kits were delivered to refugees at the Darashakran camp in Iraq. This wonderful story was covered by the Coventry Telegraph, The Sun, Sky Sports and more.

  1. TFJ Private GP Services

Newsline achieved 330 hits for TFJ Private GP Services in 2018 with stories discussing the risk of heart attacks due to stress during the World Cup, tackling the concussion issue in rugby and other sports, and how social media impacts mental health. The World Cup story received coverage across the nation in publications such as The Yorkshire Post, The Scotsman and the Daily Record.

  1. Pooling Partners

Europe’s leading pooler and manufacturer of wooden pallets, Pooling Partners, celebrated women in the workplace on International Women’s Day with a dedicated mosaic. Newsline created this mosaic using headshots of all the female faces that drive their business across Europe. We transformed the project from concept to design in less than 24 hours.

  1. Paragon

One of our biggest news stories from last year came from Paragon Veterinary Referrals and its successful surgery on Maisy the St Bernard. After fears she had cancer of the spleen, vets at Paragon carried out an operation and instead found four teddy bears! This shock story made the news internationally on CBS News, Seattle PI, International Business Times, Fox News and more. Read the full story via BBC News.
