Over its 35 year history, Newsline PR has worked with a vast array of clients in the education sector.
From schools and colleges to apprenticeship providers and careers specialists, we’ve worked with some of the biggest names in the region.
Frequently achieving print, online and broadcast coverage in regional and national press, we have excellent contacts in the education sector and are not afraid of tackling the difficult issues.
Last year, we helped Solihull School’s headmaster David Lloyd speak out about mental health issues affecting its pupils – a topic which many educators would shy away from. By setting up interviews with The Daily Mail, BBC Midlands Today and ITV Central, as well as issuing a comment to regional newspapers and websites, we were able to become one of the first schools in the country to address the problem while ensuring that the focus remained on the positive ways in which the school was helping its students deal with these issues.
While the majority of the work we do within this sector consists of media relations, we have also supported our clients with the organisation and running of events, such as HRH The Countess of Wessex visit to LVS Oxford, provided media training for key members of staff, and created design and copy a variety of marketing materials.
Newsline PR worked with Arnold Lodge School for more than 15 years and have been instrumental in generating a great deal of positive awareness and interest, including campaigns to promote its transition from being the oldest prep school in the county to becoming a school which now takes children aged from three through to 18. The team at Newsline have always been professional about their work and have repeatedly over-delivered on what we have asked them to achieve. Their ability to identify and relate those stories that engage with local and national press is consistently impressive. Nothing has ever been too much trouble for them.”
I first met Nigel Robinson, of Newsline, in 2002, as he is a most distinguished and well-known old boy of Warwick School. His affiliation and love for the school have been undiminished and he has held numerous posts within the Warwick fraternity. Yet, it was as a result of his professionalism, knowledge, experience and contacts in the world of media, public relations, advertising and alumni relations that I quickly engaged him and his company to support Warwick School in its endeavours to reach out to the wider Midlands and national educational community. On numerous occasions, through Nigel’s efforts and hard work, the school’s image was considerably enhanced. I recommend Nigel Robinson and Newsline without reservation.”
