A Leamington clinic is to introduce a fresh look to its range of treatments by appointing a specialist nurse to launch a facial aesthetics service.
Space Healthcare, based in Clarendon Avenue, provides a wide range of dentistry and ophthalmology services and will be launching its new facial aesthetics division, offering treatments such as wrinkle softening, derma fillers and skin rejuvenation, this month. It will be headed up by director Rob Morgan and new appointment Jindy Hayer.
Dr Morgan, a lecturer in dentistry at Birmingham University, who has been providing cosmetic treatments for the past decade, said the move was in response to client demand and that Ms Hayer was brought in to strengthen the team’s offering as they launch the new service.
He said: “It’s a really exciting time for us. We have always specialised in ophthalmology and dentistry and we had a lot of people, in particular dental patients, asking if we provided a facial aesthetics service, so we decided to bring in Jindy and launch the treatments this month.”
Jindy, from Coventry, has been practising in the cosmetic industry for over two years and said the new service at Space would help give clients an insight into the range of treatments available to them.
She said: “There is a definite demand for this service, however, we want to help people make the right choices about the procedures they choose. It is now becoming more common for people to show an interest in facial aesthetics procedures as they are more accessible than previously.
“It is important to us to provide treatments ethically and we aim to educate our patients and work with them to determine the most suitable treatment. We feel strongly that we should act as consultants to help patients make the best possible decisions.”
