13 July 2016

Warwickshire public relations and marketing agency Newsline has won the contract to promote Pooling Partners, Europe’s largest producer and pooler of pallets for the consumer goods supply chain and industrial sectors.

Pooling Partners comprises a wide range of European pallet and box based services all based around sustainable usage, from manufacturing sustainable wooden pallets to recycling and operating extensive circular economy pooling models. The UK business is based at Meriden Business Park, near Coventry.

The business which provides pooling services for many blue chip manufacturing businesses, including PepsiCo and Tayto Golden Wonder, and all of the UK grocers, has  grown substantially since its inception and has ambitious growth targets.

Leamington-based Newsline will be working with the group to promote the Pooling Partners brand in the UK and internationally, working with its other European PR partners.

Phil Storer, Pooling Partners’ country director in the UK & Ireland, said he wanted an experienced but creative public relations agency to promote the brand.

He said: “The name Pooling Partners perfectly encapsulates the activities of the group, from designing and producing reusable and recyclable items to extensively pooling pallets and boxes across Europe. Newsline will help us to convey the scale of our operations and the value that we can add to customers who want to benefit from pooling.

“We are uniquely able to offer a wide range of services to make it easier to use pallets and boxes at a lower cost and in a more environmentally-friendly way, and we trust Newsline to deliver this message.

Newsline director Peter Robinson said the agency was a ‘perfect fit’ for Pooling Partners. “During our almost 40 years we have represented a wide range of logistics companies, both in the UK and in Europe, including Pallet-Track, one of the UK’s leading pallet network organisations. Pooling Partners is a tremendous business and we are looking forward to promoting the new brand far and wide.”
