MORE THAN 200 CHILDREN AT CAREERS EVENT

18 May 2016

More than 200 young schoolchildren have attended a careers afternoon at Stratford upon Avon School.

The pupils, all from primary schools in the town, were given the chance to talk to people from a wide variety of jobs, ranging from emergency services and sports to writers and a curate.

The Primary Career Detective Day was hosted and supported by Stratford upon Avon School, working closely with In2Ambition, the school’s professional careers education partners from Henley-in-Arden, who organised the event.

Kufa Matiya, CEO of careers service provider In2Ambition, said that the day was to provide careers advice and guidance and that 230 children from six primary schools and 25 visiting professionals had attended what has become an annual event.
